When I used to work at Aurox, we had a multi-window financial terminal app. (something like a mini Bloomberg terminal). At some point, me and Ali were tasked to create two window managers: One would be a full screen tile window manager that Ali wanted to build, and one was a magnetic tile window manager that I wished to create. My job was to find a software that grouped windows that were near each other, and moved them once one was moved. Also it had a mini tile based resizing, where if you resized one, the others would have resized accordingly. (1/2)
