I worked so hard to make the dark mode look like a true vampire fantasy. One thing that I have learned over the years and consistently kept in my work is to treat the light and dark themes as "two separate software entirely". The mood change is so much that you have to rework them from the ground up. (1/5)

The custom border you see here is a custom written responsive SwiftUI shape and so as you can see it is used all around the app where it is a good fit and even later used it within Hard Work 🞶. One thing I learned from brining a victorian design to modern software has been that if you bring too much of the textures and stuff to the modern world it will look ugly and dirty. When you simplify the design and bring its essence however, not only it shines, but also it feels coherent and alive. This made me realize that it is not to create a museum of the dead, but to honer something so much that yuo take it and update it to be in the modern world. Then it is no longer imitation, but reality. (2/5)

While the "New Investigation" button may seem like a photograph, it is a responsive element in the design. The paper scratch is generative, and the text is written with a gorgeous handwritten font that actually captures the writing of a roller ball. (3/5)

In the light version I changed the bookmark color of the selected investigation to red and it suddenly brought a magical mix of color to the app. On the other side I finally got the chance to show code as blueprint (inspired by the Builder app of the GNOME), something I'm very in love with. This treatment of selection as bookmarks, code as blueprint, and other metaphorical elements are not directly skeuomorphism and I have no idea what exactly they are but I love them so much. (4/5)

This is the first page of the Investigations 🞶, It is so incredibly calm because with LLMs that can be so and I wished it was so. Also there is a decorative element that shows the status of the things happening. When you hit the search, it would animate under the search box and you'll wait till things flay to the results page.
