Cinema in its essence is corrupted. A message that takes millions of dollars to be made is never a good message. And perhaps that is why a book is a better message.

Real Smart Device Charging Station: Due to the lack of information on how exactly Apple devices are charged (and perhaps no control over them), I devised a new solution on physically turing the chargers on and off. The way it works is by having a smart home plug that is connected to the wifi, and scripts and daemons on machines that check the battery level of the device and turn this on and off. My system turns off the charger when goes over the 85%, and turns it back on when it falls below 30%. So I can have the charging cables connected all the time and never worry about over charging or having no battery.
Quotes & Excerpts

History of the word "Ampersand" [...] In the Promptorium Parvulorum (“Storeroom for Young Scholars”), [...] When a single letter formed a word (like I) or a syllable (like the first i- in iris), it was spelled I per se, I or in other words I by itself, I. The per se spellings were used especially for the letters that were themselves words. Because the alphabet was augmented by the sign &, which followed z, there were four of these: A per se, A; I per se, I; O per se, O; and & per se, and. [...] A became a figurative expression for a most excellent or distinguished person or thing. [...] And per se, and was not liable to such figurative use, but it did become, in slightly altered and contracted form, the standard name for the character &.
