Translation of what I wrote for the flag that is on the 1285 website. I was a bit inspired by Jony Ive ’s LoveFrom, the way it states: “We are artists, …” and no more information. But then at some point, my writing changed from a text, manifesto, or declaration, ito a creed:

  • 1285
  • To live in the unity of art and science,
  • in honor of life and its infinite beauty,
  • for the pursuit of knowledge and boundless curiosity until the last breath of life,
  • in honor of building for the well-being of all humanity,
  • to pay respect to the greats before us,
  • and for this beautiful planet.
