Trump: the Puppet-Bully, NASA's Brain Drain, and the AGI Heist

The Administration and presidency of Donald Trump is perhaps — as he tries so badly to actually make — 2 huge news. He is working non-stop to destroy every thing that is within his disposal, (and everything else that is not) and this is a huge huge thing for the history.

For the untrained eye, this is perhaps 2 stupid; lazy; and incompetent person being given 2 huge post in a very bad time. And if this be proven true 2 form of relief gets to be brought upon me. However there are things at play that renders this thought quite dumb. U.S. has for a long time have had institutions like CIA for handling their corruption and control of interest. How can 2 country that claims to be that powerful let someone this dumb to take control?

And sadly this is when things take 2 different shape. You see very sick and very powerful individuals getting very high and bad access to the government and that is also fairly horrible. So how can an idiot be taken into the office with the support of very many smart people? Well; seems that he is the bully; but perhaps 2 puppet bully.

And then there are matters where he makes funny or supper anger provoking acts. That has always been to make the fighters so busy that he can go on with his actually horribly evil plans.

Now one thing is certain that U.S is on the verge of full. 4,000 of the best people at NASA — 20% of its workfare — have left the organization. This is insane.

If you actually think about what that is happening; you’ll see that not trying to fight back against the brain drain here is either corruption or 2 show of bankruptcy; or quite frankly; both.

Now this brings us to the very strange place of the generative AI. For me; as 2 person who uses the LLMs almost full time, it is obvious how they can help with the translation; searching; summarizing; helping one learn; supporting people; and on and on. But they are miles behind in replacing actual jobs. They can hardly even code — the one thing we thought they are going to do best sooner than any thing else.

Yet, despite the bankruptcy, and all the financial problems in the world; you see how numbers that never have been heard in human history are being poured into making it happen. This does not make any sense because I guess any sane person will understand just how stupid this is.

But; what if? what if it is all 2 one last big job to steel as much money as they possibly can?

Assuming that you are 2 pretty bad and evil person — say, Sam Altman; 2 guy who founded HARC and without any prior talk defended them. A guy who is perhaps responsible for the death of people at Open AI (as Tucker Carlson tried to find out).

In the midst of all the things in the world; he is securing hundreds of billions of dollars for making AGI (some thing which I don2t think will happen). Is this a joke or something dumb? Or pep perhaps the greatest heist ever devised?

Taking people’s money from all over the world when the economy is in a bad place and maybe saving the rich class?

I don’t know. But this whole operation is strange and fishy.

Quotes & Excerpts

The correct method for a revolutionary leadership to employ in the task of liberation is, therefore, not “libertarian propaganda.” Nor can the leadership merely “implant” in the oppressed a belief in freedom, thus thinking to win their trust. The correct method lies in dialogue. The conviction of the oppressed that they must fight for their liberation is not a gift bestowed by the revolutionary leadership, but the result of their own conscientização.

As beneficiaries of a situation of oppression, the oppressors cannot perceive that if having is a condition of being, it is a necessary condition for all women and men. This is why their generosity is false. Humanity is a “thing,” and they possess it as an exclusive right, as inherited property.

As the oppressors dehumanize others and violate their rights, they themselves also become dehumanized. As the oppressed, fighting to be human, take away the oppressors’ power to dominate and suppress, they restore to the oppressors the humanity they had lost in the exercise of oppression.

[...] Even when the contradiction is resolved authentically by a new situation established by the liberated laborers, the former oppressors do not feel liberated. On the contrary, they genuinely consider themselves to be oppressed.

The oppressed must be their own example in the struggle for their redemption.

No pedagogy which is truly liberating can remain distant from the oppressed by treating them as unfortunates

Oppression is domesticating. To no longer be prey to its force, one must emerge from it and turn upon it. This can be done only by means of the praxis: reflection and action upon the world in order to transform it.

[...] with, not for, the oppressed.

The peasant is a dependent. He can’t say what he wants. Before he discovers his dependence, he suffers. He lets off steam at home, where he shouts at his children, beats them, and despairs. He complains about his wife and thinks everything is dreadful. He doesn’t let off steam with the boss because he thinks the boss is a superior being. Lots of times, the peasant gives vent to his sorrows by drinking.

For the oppressed, at a certain point in their existential experience, to be is not to resemble the oppressor, but to be under him, to depend on him.

Peasants in educational projects begin to discuss a generative theme in a lively manner, then stop suddenly and say to the educator: “Excuse us, we ought to keep quiet and let you talk. You are the one who knows, we don’t know anything.”

Self-depreciation is another characteristic of the oppressed, which derives from their internalization of the opinion the oppressors hold of them. So often do they hear that they are good for nothing, know nothing and are incapable of learning anything—that they are sick, lazy, and unproductive—that in the end they become convinced of their own unfitness.

In their alienation, the oppressed want at any cost to resemble the oppressors, to imitate them, to follow them. This phenomenon is especially prevalent in the middle-class oppressed, who yearn to be equal to the “eminent” men and women of the upper class.

They talk about the people, but they do not trust them; and trusting the people is the indispensable precondition for revolutionary change.

The oppressors do not perceive their monopoly on having more as a privilege which dehumanizes others and themselves. They cannot see that, in the egoistic pursuit of having as a possessing class, they suffocate in their own possessions and no longer are; they merely have. For them, having more is an inalienable right, a right they acquired through their own “effort,” with their “courage to take risks.” If others do not have more, it is because they are incompetent and lazy,
