Zea critiqued the search bar as pale white. Trying to come up with a better color, it came to me that I could have used patterns or multiple colors and as always my mind was stuck with modern UI universe, and suddenly there was it: Rotating rainbow as the background. Along the way I also noticed that the clipping is of a world that I like, but isn’t “me”. Trying to figure out what to replace it with, the idea of ellipse popped up and it because so nice.
Also the search bar now has a side margin for when it is focused. The combination of this and my timing animation functions have become magical.
The search shows pictures fairly badly. I have to move to specialized views faster to avoid this.
Here I perfected the automatic cell merge and therefore the created tables all feel super elegant, almost Knuthish.
