Thanks to the finite infinite wisdom that is stored within LLMs, I just learned the shape I had in the medieval portraits of ARCHIVVM∙MAGNVM, are called Quatrefoil. I love Latin.
I’m going to convert Quatrefoil into SDF, and then put into the glass shader, and have glassy quatrefoil portraits. This will be the most unique and Pouya version of a “profile picture” or “portrait”.
I was looking at the Heroes Poster and thinking about the shape in the medieval portrait, I was thinking if I could create an SDF that matches that shape and therefore turns it into a glass. What was accomplished thanks to LLMs and made me learn the shape is called a Quatrefoil. This is such an amazing thing: From a circle clipped photo of a person, I have arrived at a glass quatrefoil of a portrait, something that is both insanely high-tech, and incredibly rich in its cultural roots. The signature that I have been working on for some time now.
