I try to think my websites are amazing, but then the rest of the world are making masterpieces that my things compare like jokes to them.

There is something really important about beauty. LLMs and many people almost never get it. Art is like a language. Just as when you cannot understand things without having words for them, art is the same thing in other dimensions. The more you understand, you grow bigger and cannot go back. Beauty is an ecosystem like language, it grows and gives you more and more mental power.

What I absolutely love about TWSBI is the cap on their pricing. They could go make thousands of dollars worth of pens that made no sense, but they were like “this is the height of the pen and it should be that, no superficial prices”

Thanks to Samin , we had this meeting with Kiana ██████ , who is going to be our daily manager for the summer program. She was sooo good.

My first impression of Kiana ██████ could not have been better. She immediately jumped to saying is afraid obsessive parents may want their children to play with clean things, like LEGO, but children need to play with messy recycled stuff.

I mentioned all my research and the fact that a pillar of 1285 is the Dialectic of Enlightenment, she had read it. Awesome.

I think there is a fundamental element to beauty that “measurement” doesn’t see. Think about the Maestro Kay quote: “Anyone who is really serious about their software, should make their own hardware”. Maestro Kay and Steve Jobs knew this long before anyone else, to them the wholeness was beauty, the world is only catching up now to this. Beauty is something that mathematics can’t see, but perhaps we can.
