One of the great things about Books, was that you could see the single contribution of every single member, and then it would fruit into something concrete. Books are like Git commits of thought, you see oh this whole was made by these people contributing these things. And that has been lost with what Maestro Engelbart started actually, and now the LLMs.

Something that took so much of my thinking was how Apple evolved after Steve Jobs . My childhood got spent fascinating about how the scattered fragments of Steve Jobs ’ mind shaped a society that was in parts more extreme in parts far away from him, himself.

I was fascinated to see how portions of his thinking made more and less sense to people. That was the origin of understand Mind Kernel .

I just realized that LLMs think I write for the Archive . That is not true. I only write the Minddropss with Archive tools, but everything else: photographs, essays, … they are imported. I use OCR to scan my lab notebooks, which I have physicals of, or papers. And all of these are physically archived too.
