There is something very interesting about the woman’s art. I don’t understand it and yet all women seem to relate to it. There is a profound danger of sounding sexist here, but I guess there are elements that I do not understand as a man…
According to the advise from the Parker Latifi sales man; I bought the Amber de Birmanie from J. Herbin and it is becoming my favorite shade. And it pairs so very perfectly with my Tortoise Estie. Both feel so very much like archeology and historians. The tortoise texture and literally the “Amber de Birmanie”! It really is the perfect thing.
Herbin really has the nicest of colors. First I got in love with Bleu Calanque; then Bleu Nuit; Vert de Gris and now this.
Bleu Nuit is definitely the most beautiful Blue in the dark range. And it works magnificently with a wet writer… But nothing beats Bleu Calanque.
I’m going to be in love with Amber de Birmanie for a very very long time.
I also don’t wish to write on anything but a Moleskine for a very long long time to come. These papers are just so very very right and beautiful.
TWSBI Go is also a very great and a very bad pen. It writes so very great; but when you want to fill it; it almost always falls into the bottle and even if you do it right; it keeps so much ink around it that it takes a very long and hard time to clean it.
I can separate original and fake LEGO bricks from their shade from far away; that is a “trained” eye. While I hate specialization; the world will require trained people who can do these sorts of things. We used to have a teacher that would tell us: “Great mechanics listen to the sound of an engine and then they simply know what is the problem”; I have to use my money to buy as many moleskines as I can. They are getting impossible to find by each day that goes

Kamwa is always being missed by me…
What I’m doing with education definitely falls into the Tesler’s Law of preservation of Complexity. Either the system has to be simple have batch processing; and standardized testing or it has to be like ideal 1285. In one the one who is learning has to pay; in the other the system. And so it becoming really hard if you are in my place…
The stress of knowing maybe? I just don’t know.
It is really interesting how I not have written this before; but a big problem that probably shapes me more than anything else is the paradoxical condition in which I believe all other people are better than me; that they can do things they like and that they deserve to be happy; that they can become rich and famous; but not me; I’m never going to be anyone and do any thing.
On the other hand I also believe that I understand things better anyone else. And most of the time (99.9%) I’m right. I get to things and always have better understanding than those who do it. What I’m not understanding is why this happens.
I think in the way neurons work; this probably is the most strange of all. It is as if there are two very separate people in my mind or that there are separate machines/systems. The reason this happens is probably the “Society of Minds” (Minsky/Kay) and it really is strange.
I used to think that when you get old you become like your grandpa for example. That you would have suits and wooden things. Then I saw that they had these things even when they were young and so my misconception started to show up.
