The thing about Dynamicland is that it feels a bit childish, and undone. One may think it is not as grand as Apple say. But then the point of it is that it has transcended Apple by five~six orders of magnitude…
Why doesn’t it have a nice logo for example? Well… if you think about it carefully, logo is something everyone has, if you are to do better, to digest it better, you’d make something that is in the blood of the people, you make a culture.
And dynamicland has such a broad and complex culture that any photograph you see you know its coming from its world. It is like Star Wars, it really doesn’t need a logo for you to understand R2D2 belongs there… It is a magnificent graph instead of ruled logo…
My presence in the first island is showing me that when you go deep it consumes you. So I have to go one layer up and have time to myself. This then shows me that my working with LLM agents is the same. I used to give so much in the detail and I don’t get to when working in scale!
The notebooks are all useless. The boxes and the file boxes are all wasted here. Kids have no love for them.
I’m thinking that in programming repetition gives you the opportunity to detect what is a function; “a pattern”. See? all my life I thought what should be the name of “function” and it turns out to be “pattern”.
M. █████████ sees that he is a “Tool” of the toolbox theory. And even recognizes the fact that artists may not want to “use him”.
What I want from the people are not accurate. he is maybe better.
Dad once told me when Dr. Hafezi wanted to build the Milad Tower, his biggest problem was to find people who were not afraid of that height. It was simple to do this in other countries, in Iran that crew had to be assembled for the very first time.
And when NASA wanted to fly to the moon, there was no such thing as an astronaut, and so they had looked for the best fighter jet pilots. These people know how to drive something near the atmosphere, had tolerance for pressure and absence of gravity. They were as near as an astronaut as you could get.
I’m doing the same thing with the First Island ’s team and it is really stressing them out most of the time.
All my life I used to call my creations “toys” and I was dead serious about them. What a thing I had cooking in me I didn’t know…
Interesting things happen only at the very late stages of growth of the graph
One of the problems I’m facing with my team is the management of time. I was thinking about the effect of Ackerman Bargaining Method, the 65%, 85%, 95% and then 100%. How by each one you reduce and the brain assumes the next one was really hard to give. And so I thought what about a timer that at 65% goes warning, at 85% goes red, at 95% gets angry and like the Oscars plays a stressful music for everyone to wrap up? And so built an installable webapp for the phone that shows a timer like that…
It was the anniversary of Papa’s passing, and we went to Anna’s home. ███ was talking about redstone blocks and so we learned it together so much that we ended up creating a batman bridge that detects the character approaching it, and then shows a sine wave that opens under the foot of the character, appears as they walk and disappears behind them.
