Life is a strange thing and the way we grow and then “outgrow” is really very interesting. When I was working on Fabizi; it made me really bored and so what I did was trying to find a way out of computers. Then I found a typewriter and so I got back to paper. I thought this is how I’m going to go and so I bought some PopCo Clip Files and then found colored papers; so I bought some of them; then I bought a printer and I also, very early on had decided to use four binary punches. Some time went by; I used to type with a typewriter on colored papers and print my papers on the white ones and put them in my PopCo Files. But then something happened that I had not expected again; I got introduced to Leitz and decided all my files had to be Leitz. Of course; these were hard to find and so I began hunting. In the middle of this; I decided to find an EF nib for my Lamy Studio and once I had it, I got drawn into fountain pens.

The typewriter was hardly remembered by this time. I bought some pens like the Platinum Preppy and Pilot Kakuno and the lovely Kaweco Ice Sport and so they demanded a proper place to write; I bought some Mosallas and some Laton and some European notebooks and given that my fountain pens were pink and that I liked pink paper, hunting for a nice color of ink began and Kaweco Ruby Red it was. But Ruby Red was only good for my pink papers; what about blue ones? After some search I arrived at Herbin’s Bleu Calanque; perhaps my favorite color so far. And then I bought two TWSBI ECOs one for pink one for purple. It was awesome. I had a system that worked. But then my parents bought me a Kaweco Piston Filler AL Sport—my dream pen—and I loved it and it broke my system. For some time I had no idea how to use the pen. Then I had my Eco getting broken; my system collapsed. I then got sent to 🬆🬧🬍🬜🬬🬙 service where I had with me only one tiny A6 notebook. When the war happened and Zea rescued me from all that; the only thing I had was that notebook and so I began writing my mind drops on the paper and in the war that became my tradition. My grandma had bought me two beautiful tiny notebooks that I kept for years and decided to use. After that I had no idea what notebook to keep and have. Once the war got to cease fire; and I got paid better; I bought a TWSBI Diamond 580. It was something to get used to as I was afraid of losing another Eco for a fragile feed. Something I forgot to mention was buying a Filofax A5 notebook and trying to have a pink paper notebook by producing my own paper that did not work as well and so Zea bought me tools to make my own notebooks and by somewhere around Bahman that year I had my own custom made Pink notebooks. After the war and with Diamond things got stranger and around here I had bought two little A6 Moleskines and a big A6 black Moleskine. Good stuff really. I am writing this on the black one. The thing is; I decided to keep the A5s and have a collection of good ones and for that I had bought as much Moleskine as I could and then some Rhodia. In the middle of that I also purchased my all time dream pen—even before AL Piston Sport—an Estie Tortoise. (Now only the Montblanc 149 remains) Buying it made me hunt for new colors and I arrived at Herbin’s Bleu Nuit—just as beautiful as this Bleu Calanque—and then I bought Herbin’s Ambre de Birmanie—on the suggestion of the Parker Latifi shop; and also Vert de Gris; and Blue Cobalt. Having moved on to good paper—because I’m afraid my Estie or Piston will get damaged I now write on white mostly with Bleu Nuit; and Ambre de Birmanie on A5 Moleskines. For my A6; I currently have put the Bleu Calanque on the Kaweco Piston and I’m writing with that. Sadly or not I hardly touch my Ecos; Studios; Mosallas papers and notebooks and I no longer make any pink notebooks this one I wish I can change So why did I say this?
