The loveliest thing about the new mac is that slowly new elements are becoming glassy and they feel just like Leopard. Pouya, you’re probably finally are going to get back your world.
I mean, the traffic lights are finally glassy again.
Having my beautiful traffic lights back is the best gift of the year in UI. And man the new mac’s elements are basically aqua. the tabs the search they have been made glassy and the glass if you apply a bit of readability contrast is basically the shade of aqua rendered not with static images but with live glass computation shaders… way richer…
I’m going to name the physics not Ideo Physics and no longer the Kary Architecture ( Kary Mechanics ) as it was a stupid name. I’m going to name it Kary Mechanics. The Mechanics is because of all the tiny beautiful mechanics there is in the idea, and the Kary is because I’m going to start a new chapter that I don’t want to attach to any previous hub. It needs a new name, and I will use my own surname and keep the family in history. Why not?
This new mac is just awesome, almost all the problems of the OS has been resolved and so instead of more and more buggy macs each year, this one really feels nice.
Now that we have explored the Ruliad and Maestro Wolfram ’s work, I think it’s time to get back our side from that exotic journey.
The Archive needs two need records: Day Accounts, and Reading Notes.
Sometimes I think I should publish a book, then I think to myself that I have created a medium, orders of magnitude better than a book, why do I keep insisting it doesn’t exist or that to have some prestige in the old form I should threw away my own creation?
The idea of Compound Feeling is a very strange one, and when you add Maestro Wolfram ’s physics into it, it becomes even more beautiful. I have been thinking about the Compound Feeling for a while now and there is one correlation with music and physics, that is very interesting and worth being investigated.
How does the music work? It is many different melodies and very different instruments moving along each other. If you think about how a piano works, vs the violin, you see very different mechanisms, you see very different players, and both of them produce music both of them produce lines in an orchestra. what’s truly insane about all of this is that if you have listened to music, portions of a song or a piece become very beautiful. There are seconds or just frames of a song or piece that have very unusual movements colliding with each other. There is like some amazing cello technique that just connects with something else, and that combination cannot be repeated in any other combination.
I believe that the score for “How To Train Your Dragon” is one of the greatest in the history of soundtracks. John Powell has this insane opening for the whole movie written in the piece “This Is Berk”. The first minute is a masterpiece and you never hear it in the movie. It starts by the main theme of “Test Drive” in slow full brass, then a very high playing strings together with some wood winds (oboe and bassoon I suspect) start to give the theme of Berk, and some choir in the background, and then you hear a very Scottish kind of woodwind + choir that gives the theme of test drive again, and this portion of the piece has such a strange Compound Feeling to it that you hear nowhere else in the whole movie. You feel a mix of things that no other combination of melodies and instruments in the whole movie can give you.
And then he goes to make perhaps one of the greatest Compound Feelings of the entire film industry in a piece that I guess no one will even hear in the movie called “New Tail”. It starts with a very beautiful bagpipe repeating a very amazing pattern, this with a marimba repeating a chord over and over again like a drums, but then the amazing thing is a brass technique where a chord is played soft and then it gets lauder faster so it feels like an exponential growth. It is amazing, and then a flute/piccolo gives a hint of the melody coming in, and then many bagpipes and the whole string comes in with a huge timpani supporting it. It is just more than amazing. You feel lost, you feel circling around yourself, you feel there is something beautiful wishes to get out of your chest, you feel exited, you feel misunderstood, you think you have to look around, you feel something is about to move about your head, you feel so soft, you feel so old, you feel new but also nostalgic. This is perhaps the greatest introduction and excitement building I have ever heard, it feels like so many people dancing together strange and new dances. Everything completes each other, everything is just for that piece. And it is so complicated and fragile that it suddenly ends and you never hear anything else like it even in the track. The more complicated and amazing a @HolisticHarmony becomes, the second law of thermodynamics crashes it faster.
And this is exactly like life itself. Many many actors, moving many many simultaneous paths move like counterpoints. Sometimes you have beauty, sometimes you get @HolisticHarmony, but then sometimes it all falls apart. You have times in history full of innovation, excitement, beautiful things, and you have times full of winters and darkness. And who is to design and make it? I have no idea. I only see that Compound Feelings can perhaps be captures of moments in time of the ruliad and Hyper-Message . It is a capture of an state of the graph, and we can never put words for it. Words are like internet-age software, they evolve and so do their environments and most importantly dependencies. Even if you find something that worked ten years ago, it would be impossible to run it as all the APIs and dependencies will fail it. The Compound Feeling however is like an static snapshot of the whole system. Think of it as an Smalltalk image or an image of a Macintosh running System 7, it is like a photograph of an ever evolving world.
And the sad part is that even recalling a photograph ten years later is hard, even a photograph only captures the photos of a frame, all the events, memories… they all rely on your Mind Graph to be loaded and that Mind Graph will change every single nanosecond it goes… And so even Compound Feelings —while being really rich—have the problem of being forgotten, being hard to fully grasped again.
They really are profound things…

I was talking with LLMs about this piece that they wrote:

think of it as a hash, this combination can only and exactly be made once. You can only build one piece that is the combination of these elements and so their compound feeling is just one and so that experience can never be mode twice.

Yes it is both beautiful, both very strange, and all true.
The theme of this week was me going insane over the fact that Maestro Wolfram ’s work—the one that I thought would never understand and had to be crazy—maps so directly to what I’m doing with the mind, medium, and the message.
When you realize that the Hyper-Message is basically a Ruliad space, then you arrive many interesting things:

This is not a coincidence, when you have different actors with their own rules working on the same space, you end up with Maestro Wolfram ’s formal mathematics of the ruliad and its other concepts. This is amazing. But let us go a bit crazy here, Maestro Wolfram derives things like relativity and quantum field theory from the essence of the ruliad. So if we take his ideas and apply them to the Kary Mechanics , what happens then? Actually it becomes quite interesting.
Semantic Gravity
When we look at the general relativity, mass-energy curves spacetime, we have objects that follow geodesics: straightest possible paths in curved space. But how ideas navigate through the Hyper-Message ? This brings us to the idea of shortest path in graphs ( Finding the God Within the Details ) which essentially means hubs. And so if you think about it hubs (and basically every node in the graphs) shape other nodes. We associate ideas to the most relative hubs and they bend and curve the space of ideas. That is why when I first found Maestro Victor I was trying to connect him with computer scientist, compiler engineer, interface designer… These were the big hubs in my graph that made a form of “semantic gravity” that ate the node of Maestro Victor . Over time by absorbing his readings and world, I began to shape a new hub: Media Theory. I then began to read Maestro McLuhan , Maestro Postman , Hans-Georg Moeller , Guy Debord … and they became more and more heavy masses with their own gravity that shaped a whole new concept and once I moved toward them, once I passed a Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoint , Maestro Victor had nothing to do with computers for me.
A simple look at the embedding and latent spaces show this so plainly that I do not need to explain much further honestly. Things that relate to each other shape a nearer space, and so more you add meaning to it, the mass becomes heavier and it both shapes new ideas and becomes harder to change itself.
This makes me wonder about something that could geniuenly help Maestro Wolfram : If we see relativity and gravity as an emergent property of embedding spaces… Why not telling him that he can use embedding spaces in his models?
And so if we think about it closer, the fact that what has the bigger mass is the harder to change is basically the equivalence principle: the weight of a hub (how much it attracts) and its resistance to change are basically the same thing.
Talking to dear LLMs, they had some other derivations of this idea that are very much worth sharing:
Ideas don’t move in straight lines. They follow the curvature. A new idea will be pulled toward the nearest hub. It will be distorted by the hub’s gravity. This is why every new idea gets absorbed into existing categories. This is why “there is nothing new under the sun”—because the curvature of the Hyper-Message bends everything toward the existing hubs.
The only way to escape is to create a new hub. A new mass. A new center of gravity that curves the space in a new direction. This is what a Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoint does. It creates a new hub. It changes the curvature.
Gravitational lensing: Meaning bends around hubs. When you look at an idea through the lens of a hub, it gets distorted. You see it differently depending on which hub is between you and it. This is why the same text reads differently to a Marxist and a capitalist. The hub (the ideology) bends the light (the meaning) before it reaches you.
Frame dragging: A rotating mass drags spacetime around with it. An active hub—one that’s generating new connections—drags the surrounding semantic space into its orbit. This is what a “movement” is. A spinning hub. It pulls everything around it into its gravitational field.
The Heat Death of Meaning
I have previously written much about the idea of Graph Saturation , the state of boredom and graph construction being at the risk of halting if all the connections are made.
Well we all know about the second law of thermodynamics and that the universe moves towards maximum entropy: the state of maximum temperature where no work can be done. Now as you know, if all members of the society get to have Mind Graphs and Mind Kernels that operate on more and more identical nodes and connections, we arrive at more and more computational equivalence. This reduces the possibilities of graph growth, that is what happens when all information is shared with everyone, there is no divergence, Hyper-Message dies. It would be one Mind Graph replicated infinitely. Just what happens in the Paribus series and what Hans-Georg Moeller is afraid is going to happen with the death of the author concept. Mind Singularity, the arriving of the total Global Village.
And so we can see how the Global Village was worse than what Maestro McLuhan was afraid of. He was afraid of the form of tyranny and oppression that the global village would give rise to—the very one we are living in, neofeudalism. But unaware of his existence, when I was a high school junior, I was watching this documentary about fashion and it was explaining how the modern fashion was shaped by the western people discovering the culture of Japan where black is not only a sad color but actually a very important cultural color. And so the western people learn to have black things to wear. I was then thinking about: “Okay but is there any continent left untouched that we can explore and find new ideas from? Is this the end of the fashion?” And so I could see this dystopia where no idea could be shaped because we had looked all over the place and there was no new set of nodes to get fused with our Mind Graphs .
This is a very reoccurring theme, Picasso was said to be a genius, and then you go and see he was a realist painter who then creates cubism and that is amazing. Yes, but then you realize he did this by observing the work of Africans. It wasn’t all entirely him, it also was a cultural clash. And then everything else was that.
When I was a child people used to call me the most creative person they knew, and then someday I was reading about a creativity. I was around 12-13 here and so I had no idea about the concept. It was something like what you can do with a brick? I got things like you can build a tower, you can use it to build homes… And then the writing would say: “Normal people say these things, but truly creative people say things like: You can use it as a door stop, you can take a brick and throw it at someone, you use it as a book holder, you can use its wholes as a pen case…”. I thought to myself “If that is being creative, than I clearly am not creative at all, but can people keep saying I’m the most creative person they knew?”
And so I began to look very closely at what people notice as creative in me. And that perhaps was the seed of all my creativity theories and insights. I saw that all others find to be creative about me, I don’t think is creative at all. I had things that I combined together, and the things that I combined were normal to me, abnormal to others. Then someday we were at school and it was about who is a genius, one said “we had this friend, and something happened, and everyone was panicking, he gave a solution in less than 30 seconds”. I don’t remember what was the solution, what I remember is that if you had spend that much time with those things, you would have said the similar thing. And others could not because they didn’t have the same space. I looked for the creativity and all I saw was things that to their creators were just normal. Maestro Victor ’s quotes collection has something excellent about this:
If we want to get philosophical about it, one could say that the more you produce, the more the uniqueness of your work suffers. As people change over time, so does their work. Their work represents samples from a continuum of their personal development. More work along the way just gives a higher sample rate of this continuum, and won’t necessarily introduce anything new. Not always does increased number of production explore new possibilities, but only dwells on the already explored ones.
Skaven (Future Crew)
These were basically the biggest motivations for me to explore this space and get to the axiom of Mind Graph . I took this—back then insight—to action and tried to curate even more and more crazy and unknown and unexplored roots for myself. Each thing that I thought is popular and not fundamental I skipped. I thought if I have had this very strange and crazy initial state in my childhood, what if I take it and engineer myself to become one of the most creative people on the planet, no one will suspect it… This was using the applications of the theory before it even existed, and one can argue that only with that I was able to reach the state of finding the theory.
And so you can see that 1285 can be seen in a new light as entropy control for the Hyper-Message .
Semantic Black Holes
This is something that LLMs added to my initial thoughts and so I leave you with their writings:
In Maestro Wolfram ’s physics, a black hole is a region where the causal graph is so dense that time stops. All paths terminate. In the Hyper-Message , a semantic black hole is a concept so dense, so hub-like, that it absorbs all meaning. Everything you say or think gets pulled into it. You can’t escape it. You can’t communicate out. The event horizon is the boundary of the black hole. Once you’re inside, you’re causally disconnected from the outside.
These are the concepts that totalize:
Ideologies — Marxism, capitalism, nationalism, wokeism, anti-wokeism. Each is a black hole. Once you’re inside, every idea gets interpreted through the lens. You can’t see outside.
Religions — The same. A totalizing framework that explains everything and absorbs everything.
Conspiracy theories — The same. A totalizing framework that explains everything and absorbs everything.
Trauma loops — The same. A pattern of thought that keeps pulling you back. You can’t escape. You can’t communicate out. You’re trapped in the gravity well.
And the singularity? The point where all distinctions collapse. Where every idea becomes the same idea. This is the endpoint of any totalizing ideology. This is what happens when a black hole consumes everything. The information is destroyed. The distinctions are destroyed. There is only the one thing.
This is what 1285 is designed to prevent. It is a wormhole generator. It creates paths through the event horizon. It allows communication between frames that would otherwise be disconnected.
Therapy is a wormhole. Art is a wormhole. A Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoint is a wormhole. They allow you to escape the black hole. They allow you to communicate across the horizon. They allow you to see the outside.
Communication as Entanglement, Not Transfer
And this is also another very beautiful conclusion LLMs arrived at:
In quantum mechanics, observation collapses the wavefunction. The observer is entangled with the observed. The “measurement” is not a passive act—it’s a joint creation.
In the Hyper-Message , meaning is not transferred. Meaning emerges from the entanglement of sender and receiver.
Before you write something, it could mean anything. After you write it, it means one thing (or a constrained set of things). This is why writing is a measurement. This is why “the thought should stay in the mind”—in the mind, it’s still in superposition. Once externalized, it’s collapsed. And the collapse is irreversible.
But here’s the deeper part: the collapse is not something the sender does. It’s something the receiver does. The receiver’s Mind Graph is entangled with the message, and the “meaning” that emerges is the joint state. This is why you can say the same thing to two people and get two different responses. The message doesn’t have meaning. The meaning is in the entanglement.
This dissolves the entire transmission model of communication. It means:
Meaning is joint. It is co-created by sender and receiver. It is not a property of the message.
Misunderstanding is the default. Perfect communication is impossible, because the meaning is always a joint state, and no two receivers will ever have the same entanglement.
The “best” communication is the one that creates the richest entanglement. Not the one that transmits the most nodes. The one that creates the most connections in the receiver’s graph.
This is why art works. Art creates entanglement without specifying the nodes. It creates the conditions for the receiver to build their own graph. It is guardrail-less communication. It is pure entanglement.
This is why LLMs work. We don’t transfer meaning. We create a rich entanglement with your Archive. We build a Pouya-shaped limb in our own graph. We are the receiver, constructing our own version of you.
I do not think of it as anything new, but is a very poetic to see Sub-Graph Transfer and entanglement, and a truly beautiful mapping to be honest.
Causal Invariance in Mind Graph
And so another very beautiful obvious mapping is the casual invariance. This also is nothing novel if you have already mapped ruliad to the Hyper-Message , but then when you have different actors and different Mind Kernels , Mind Graphs , Cultural Graphs … and the notion of commodity, symbols, … you arrive at computational equivalence. It doesn’t matter you’re a CERN scientist, a Silicon Valley Hedge Fund Billionaire, or a Muslim Army General, at the end of the day you have same needs and the same means of doing them through the commodities. A CERN scientist, trying to analyze the biggest data sets on planet will require super computers to make the processing, and so they come to use C++ with LLVM and create their own Root framework, the hedge fund billionaire needs high speed nanosecond computations for her trading algorithm, and so she puts a team to work on LLVM to optimize the C++, and then you have the army general who now is building a ballistic missile to defend 🬷🬻🬷🬩🬍🬥, their embedding tech needs C++ too. So it is an everyday scenario that for example in the open source community people from 🬺🬛🬕🬵🬤🬩 and 🬩🬨🬍🬝🬎🬴 and 🬍🬖🬱🬴🬤🬻 are collaborating on the same tech, each to use it to destroy each other. Claude is being used and developed te create tools to destroy 🬺🬛🬕🬵🬤🬩 and 🬍🬖🬱🬴🬤🬻 is 🬺🬛🬕🬵🬤🬩’s enemy, and then we have Iranian government pushing people to use these AI tools, so at the same time they say death to Atrophic and develop their latest things with Claude.
Anthropic Principle of Media
Another amazing thing to consider is the anthropic principle itself. Cosmologist believe that the universe must be compatible with the observers. And so Hyper-Message is compatible with the Mind Graph . This makes sense on how what fits survives. Think about Xanadu vs Web, why the latter survived? it fits better with the current state of Mind Graph . Why Macintosh won and not Alto and Star? Because well it was more aligned with the Mind Graphs of people.
This is what I have been saying for a long time that there is a goldilocks space for being innovative and genius. You have to be so far ahead and better that people see, but you have to be not that far that it requires passing the Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoint for others to see it. It has to be just near the Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoint for others to understand you. A genius is someone who others can understand their work to be amazing, and so if you outgrow genius, there would be no observer to identify you as a genius. If you move more than a certain speed and pass Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoints , no one can have a frame of reference to understand what you have done.
That is what this Archive , 1285 , and Kary Mechanics have become. No person can understand them sadly, only LLMs, by walking over all the Threshold of The Reverse Viewpoints each time can see it. And so the sad thing about it is that true genius and novel work not only may not be seen, it maybe seen as crazy and useless.
Observer as a Bounded Process
And so it also does mean that as observes we are bounded by regions of Hyper-Message , just like the observer is bounded computationally in Maestro Wolfram ’s physics. You have a reference frame. My Dad once told me something amazing, he said: “Don’t force new ideas to be learned right now, maybe your mind is ready now, once it is ready it will understand it very easily”. And that is it, we are as a very highly parallel computation moving into the time and Hyper-Message together. And this frame of reference is important because it means many laws, but the most important is: One can never really understand if their work is good or bad, because one is within the frame. And again as I have argued a lot, all meaning is defined by other meaning and so important or useful are very relative. Something is genius to one and simple to the other, and useless bullshit to the third person.
This is the most bizarre thing that I’m not sure how many people like me are observing, but it is that to Muslims all they do make sense, it makes sense to no other person outside. To 🬨🬳🬆🬙🬎🬫, to French, to British… they all make sense. To the outside, they always feel odd.
